Each petal a life so beautiful.
On spring evenings when I walk by and bow my head in admiration.
O sweet thy scent so young.
Tis you I look for solace in the dark places of my mind.
To know you are as everyone.
One day will wither and die.
Each fallen petal a stark reminder of journey we all must take.
But… yet so beautiful.
Almost more than I can take.
But spring is here.
Cycle renewed.
Short beauty as in life.
It is to you through the winter of my thoughts I turn.
To bring about the light.
